AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2026-27 for girls: ₹50,000/year, apply on NSP by 31 October
If you are a girl studying in an AICTE-approved technical degree or diploma course, in first year or second year through lateral entry, that is ₹50,000 a year. Applications run on the National Scholarship Portal until 31 October 2026.
Who can apply
- Girl students admitted to an AICTE-approved technical course: degree (B.E./B.Tech etc.) or diploma
- First-year admission, or second year through lateral entry
- Family income criterion applies, check the current-year limit on the scheme page while applying on NSP
What you get
₹50,000 per year for the duration of the course, paid by Direct Benefit Transfer.
Deadline
Applications run on the National Scholarship Portal; the student deadline is 31 October 2026 (NSP portal date, verified 28 July 2026). AICTE's own scheme site currently has certificate issues, apply through NSP directly.
Documents to keep ready
- Class 10/12 marksheets and admission letter from the AICTE-approved institution
- Income certificate, Aadhaar seeded with your bank account
- Bank passbook, photo; tuition fee receipt
- Category certificate if applicable
How to apply
1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on NSP, see our OTR guide
2. Log in, search for "AICTE Pragati" under central schemes, fill and submit before 31 October
3. Your institute verifies after submission, tell your college scholarship cell
