Karnataka SSP Post-Matric Scholarship: 30 September
Karnataka runs post-matric scholarships through the State Scholarship Portal, and every department sets its own last date. Checked on 3 September 2026: Backward Classes Welfare and Minority Welfare close 30 September 2026, Disability Welfare closed 31 August, Tribal Welfare and the Brahmin Development Board 31 December, and Social Welfare 31 January 2027. All six dates are below. Find your department before you plan.

Post-matric, Class 11 and above
- Backward Classes Welfare Department — 30 September 2026
- Department of Disability Welfare — 31 August 2026
- Department of Minority Welfare — 30 September 2026
- Tribal Welfare Department — 31 December 2026
- Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board — 31 December 2026
- Social Welfare Department — 31 January 2027
Pre-matric, Class 1 to 10 — 30 September 2026, and that one date covers Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Minority Welfare, Technical Education, Disability Welfare, Labour, and Primary and Secondary Education.
About the date on the card. It tracks the next department to close — 30 September today — and moves to the next one as each passes. It is not your date unless you are applying through Backward Classes Welfare or Disability Welfare. Use the list above.
One thing that stops applications dead. The portal states that "Aadhaar seeding to bank account is mandatory for submission of application and to avail scholarship". Seeding is not the same as having given the bank your Aadhaar number, and it can take days at the branch. Check it before you start the form, not after.
