PM YASASVI Scholarship 2026-27, OBC/EBC/DNT: 31 October
For OBC, EBC and DNT students at school and college level. This is one of the first NSP deadlines of the season and it closes 31 July 2026, three months before the others.

Who can apply
- OBC, EBC (Economically Backward Class) and DNT (De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes) students
- Studying at school or college level, as specified by the scheme component
- Family income within the limit stated on the scheme page
What you get
Depends on your class and component. Reports consistently put the school component at up to ₹75,000 a year for Class 9-10 and up to ₹1.25 lakh a year for Class 11-12. Confirm the figure for your component on the scheme page while you apply.
Two components, two different dates
PM YASASVI runs as two separate schemes on the National Scholarship Portal, and they are not on the same clock.
- College component — the one taking fresh applications. The scheme board states "Student Application Open till : 31-10-2026".
- School component — the board shows it open for renewal only, until 31-08-2026. If you are applying for the first time at school level, there is nothing open for you right now.

How to apply
1. Finish One-Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, see our OTR guide
2. Log in, find PM YASASVI under central schemes, fill and submit
3. Your school or college verifies after you submit, so tell the office once you have applied
